Index Cards

Sometimes it can be very helpful to use index cards to keep track of how many times you have correctly played a particular section. When I was young I used to use pennies, however, now I prefer to use brightly colored index cards because they can't scratch the piano and I like the bright colors. Your personal goal might be to try to play a particular passage three times correctly. Start with three cards in a pile. Each time you play the passage correctly, move one card to the right. Repeat the section until each card has been moved.
