The topics above contain information that many advanced students
will find helpful.
My studio has included a variety of students ranging from beginners
to advanced, young children to adults. Some of my students go
on to become professional pianists studying at schools such as
the Manhattan
School of Music; some come back to piano as adults looking for
a hobby that sustains them emotionally,
while others discover the magic of touching the keys for the very
first time. I enjoy teaching students of all
ages and all levels; each level has its special challenges and
rewards.
As an advanced pianist, you will obviously have different needs
from that of beginning student. It is my hope
that the information contained in the following pages might provide
some answers to your questions or at least guide you to a source
that will help you in your search for answers. If you have questions
that have not been addressed here, and you think they should be,
please
submit them and I will try to
address them.
