Mission Statement
The Living Composers: AnythingPiano Project's mission is to encourage the creation of repertoire
for the piano in various combinations, to promote living composers through public performances
and recordings of their works, and to increase audience enthusiasm and appreciation for new
music through creative and varied programming.
LCAPP is currently focusing on music for four hands at one piano. Most recent LCAPP selections for the
2009-2010 season are by the following composers (listed in alphabetical order):
Chuck Holdeman: Crossover Soundings (1999)
Mike Nock: Southern Suite (2008)
Elizabeth Vercoe: Umbrian Suite (1999)
Judith Zaimont: Snazzy Sonata (1972)
We are in the process making new selections for the 2010-2011 season. Check back again!
