Seasonal Moments is a collection of 4 original piano pieces at the late intermediate level by Donna Gross Javel. They are especially well suited for teenagers and adult students. They are melodic and use challenging rhythms; two of the pieces use mixed meters. The key signatures used are G minor, G major, and D minor. THE CIRCUS COLLECTION (early to late intermediate) $7.95
The Circus Collection is a collection of 8 original piano pieces ranging in ability from early intermediate to
late intermediate by Donna Gross Javel. As a reference point, I consider Dmitri Kabalevsky's Clowns as a as an intermediate level composition. The rhythmic and melodic qualities of these pieces really add to their appeal. Although their harmonies are fairly conservative, they do have some mild dissonances. One of the interesting features of The Circus Collection is that Circus Time! and Finale! contain themes and musical ideas from the other pieces in the collection. The Circus Collection is part of the Kaleidoscope Konzert Series.

THE RINGMASTER AND OTHER CIRCUS MUSIC (late elementary) $3.95
The Ringmaster and Other Circus Music is a collection of 3 original piano pieces at the late elementary level by Donna Gross Javel. These pieces use the 'C' and 'G' five-finger patterns to help make them more easily accessible to young players. The unexpected accidentals provide added appeal to the simple harmonies.
